Chris,
If you didn't catch Jerry Favors on CNBC this afternoon, the following is a synopsis -
4th wave was completed in Jan. 1998. We are now in 5th wave.
Critical to hold 8569. He discussed the "Bradley Indicator" which is astrological in nature and has an excellent record of predicting tops and bottoms + or - two days. This indicator is calling for a major high on July 24th (high for the year) + or - two days. But then he also has technical indicators calling for the top August 15th + or - two days. He said it depends on how the next few weeks go. If we get to 9366 (+ or - some number of points - he said it so fast I couldn't get it all) within the next three weeks, then we have the possibility of going up fast to 9829 (+ or - 29 points) by mid August.
This is not perfect transcription but it's close.
Hope it helps you and the rest of the thread.
Have a great weekend all.
Peggy

the key when trading/investing is to beat the mkt. beat the sp500.

well, the stocks we've tracked have beaten the sp500 by a HUGE margin:

(please check my figures for accuracy)

exchange2000.com

sp500 from 6/8/98 to now: +4.8%
MER FROM 6/8/98 to now: 16%
MSFT from 6/8/98 to now: 32%
DELL from 6/8/98 to now: 20%
GE from 6/8/98 to now: 10%
SGP from 6/8/98 to now: 9.31%
LU from 6/8/98 to now: 17.5%
WMT from 6/8/98 to now: 11%
BMET from 6/8/98 to now: 15%
===================================

you always watch the sp500.
if you CANT beat the sp500, then put it in a mutual fund.
you take risks in stocks/options to beat the sp500.
