I appreciate your insight into the potential y2k/asian problems. Its so hard to actually listen to comments such as yours in an incredible market such as this, but i am starting to take note and action. thanks

This market reminds me of hong kongs hang seng right after the handover. My hk friends were wildly bullish and telling me to "just buy hong kong bank-you can't lose". On my many trips to hk during 1997 it was amazing to see people lined up at the branch PCs to get quotes. My point is that they just did not want to see the mania. Just like most people in todays us markets, they were drunk with easy profits. But, as an "outsider" it was obvious to me. I sold all my asian funds at Hang seng 14k. Are we just not seeing it?

Anyway about wcom-I am very very bullish. I think that earnings and savings estimates for 99 may have been kept lower than what is possible. Ebbers was so determined to ink the mci deal, and being a supremely machiavellian business man, i think he instintively knew to keep a lid on the incredile benefits of this deal and of wcoms backbone assets. I hold many shares, will add below 48 and will not sell until 99 earnings are announced. Its possible-2.25 earnings, pe expansion to 70+, price of $160. At any rate, $100 seems easy and thats not too shabby.

Thanks in advance for all insights and comments. Vy impressed with this board.
