1. The God of Christianity is the truth. 2. The tribes around that time period were worshipping other Gods. I think you have the order reversed - if you kill off anyone who doesn't believe in the God of Christianity, then of course the God of Christianity will be the truth - there's nothing else to compare him/her to. Why is your God so threatened by other gods/teachings? If your God really is the truth, then it should be clear to everyone, and he/she wouldn't have to kill off other gods to prove it, right? Does that mean I should go kill everyone? No... I've never even been in a fight. God has the right to judge, not me. If the God of Christianity is the truth however, then were these people bringing Him glory or disobeying him at that time? If you go back to Del's post that started this thread (#reply-5168819), you'll see that God was commanding his/her subjects to kill those tribes who didn't worship properly. If you believe Del's post, and you don't want to disobey God, then doesn't it follow that you should be killing more people?
