Grant,There are many times in the Old Testament when the women and children were allowed to live, only to grow up and pervert the Israeli men with their religions. " There were no Israeli men in the Old Testament. There were Israelite men. The modern word Israeli is a politcal and nationalistic term identifying a citizen of the modern antichrist nation of Israelis, while the Old Testament word Israelite is an ethno spiritual term. The word Israelite mean a person who had the faith of Abraham and worshipped the God of Abraham---Jehovah.

I believe everyone in the tribes that were killed believed the same thing. >> I find it hard to belive that the killed babies formed an belief system that would later be a threat to the Israelis. You are right about the danger of taking these kinds of discussions further in a public forum. That's why Christians are warned about reading this stuff on their own and doing their own thinking. That's also why I want people to read their Bibles on their own, which most people haven't. Without somebody redirecting your thoughts when you come to these passages, and looking at it objectively instead, you might just conclude it is mythological hogwash. Del
