A post that was copied from another thread from Yongzhi.....

Dear CSPLF88 ,
After replying to your post, I did a lot of thinking. Finally I decided to call the company anyway even though I
knew I wouldn't here what I want - the signing of the contract. I was expecting an answering machine but I
got Howard. I am glad I called.
Right after greeting, I raised my concern: "I have been told and have firmly believed that a contract is a done
deal. But I am not so sure any more. It seems we (or the partner of plfm) are in a biding war against a dozen
other bidders. How do we know that the chance of winning a bid is better than 50-50 ?" I told him that other
investors have the same concern too. Howard started to explain the dynamics of the "biding war" by listing the
names of the companies that are involved. (Of course, we know most of them already.) It turns out that plfm is
partnering with at least three front runners in the biding, each has very compelling reasons to win some sectors.
He realized that the company need to explain the situation to the shareholders and called Bill Martin into
conference call. They both agreed that they need to let shareholders know what's going on and they were both
frustrated that they were sitting on tons of information they couldn't release. I told them that if they were going to
explain the situation by releasing some names/agreements prematurely which may jeopardize the contract, then I
would rather not to hear it. Bill agreed that he will try to write a release intelligently which will explain the
situation without releasing any information that may jeopardize the contract. (Good luck to him !) He will try to
put out a release on Monday. Hopefully we will learn why a contract is almost a done deal at this point.
Let's wait and see if they can convince us.
Good luck,
yongzhi
