Re: Borrowing money to repurchase the stock doesn't seem to ring any warning bells in the minds of the bulls on this stock.

Did Dell really borrow money to repurchase stock? I thought they borrowed money to open new plants.

Wow, the only thing he likes is Biotech. Lets see, 99% of them are bleeding green, 99% of internet stocks are bleeding green. He praises the first and flames the second.

Dell is making money big time and expanding. He hates it.

I guess I am in the wrong company. gg

Chuzzlewit, what do you think of this investment philosophy?

know what is knowable; do not worry about the unknowable.
swim in the currents with the fishes;
there is growth in the spring;
the spring growth is knowable;
what is not knowable is unknowable and therefore unknown in the spring
swim with the growing fishes in the spring currents that are knowable;
the growth of the fishes is knowable;
do not worry about the unknowable fishes in the known currents;
do not spring into the unknowable.
and know this: do not eat the currants and do not sleep with the fishes.
--Charles Munger and Chauncey Gardiner, the former of BRKA, the latter of Being There.

But, seriously what do you advise the thread about the negative remarks on Dell by the creator of SI? See #51633 John Hauser,s post
