"That could be exactly what the person is, an investor. By nature an investor has to take on some degree of risk." What is the reason an investor would take this risk? What does he have to gain? We're supposed to believe that the stock (which hopefully will soar in value) is to be returned to Rob Gordon upon repayment of the loan. So this investor is taking a really big risk on a company with very little value for only the amount of interest he receives from the loan. NOT LIKELY! Many would be willing to take a large risk in the hopes of a large payoff...but what is the big payoff for this investor? Sandi
