[Early] I thought Salim got booted off SI like 6 months ago?? It is hard to still be "early" on this segment and watch the likes of DELL split twice in half the time! I am afraid we should defer to the analysts which we often deride on this and other threads and admit that they were right on the money concerning ADSL deployment. If I remember correctly, many people here and on AMTX thread were predicting large scale deployments maybe by late 97 but for sure 1st half 98. Well, we are now 2nd half 98, and who has started large scale deployments?? If RBOCs had their way, we would be using tin cups tied to a string and paying 1000$ a month for the priviledge.
