Steven - Your are right fine tuning is very difficult. My only point is that no-one predicted this economy or this market and equally no-one knows where it is going. All we do know is that there is no sign of old fashioned inflation and we know that there is no need to put up interest rates in fact there are good reasons for putting them down. But OK lets assume old G isn't goig to put them down because it just goes against everything he's ever known or experienced or been taught at least don't mention stock prices or the market. If the market were to drop by something really seriuos then I would welcome his calming comments to help it back up again. OK you say you wouldn't mind him speaking about the market in thise circumstances would you. And the answer is that yes the market is a lot of peoples stored up lives and propserity and I would expect him to defend and so I guess would the overwhelming majority. The point is that the market is a big part of many peoples lives today so if he can help it then OK speak and if he can't also OK but he shouldn't say anything. Regards, L
