This is a very valid point you bring up.
DELL made a name for itself by selling machines for less.
Another comment made yesterday that no one here has mentioned,
Inacom stated that CPQ, IBM, and HWP are all priced below DELL on a large number of moddels.
This might be having an impact on the stock also.

Sorry, I meant to use CPQ as my example. I guess we will have to agree to disagree. The $1200 machine is not the same as the $2400 machine. Have you ever heard of quality? I work on electronic equipment every day. Believe me there is a difference between quality and junk. I suppose Toyota has to lower its prices because of Yugo according to your theory?
