Larry: Ahhhhh. It's one of those now familiar Adaptec nights. A cocktail, a double, and whatever I choose.

Don't be aggravated. Patience.

Would Larry J or somebody else going to the annual meeting be interested in a) gathering questions from this board to ask, and/or b) gathering proxies from the board participants? If we had some meaningful things to ask or say it might be more effective if we had a speaker representing a significant number of shares.

Just a thought -- consider it.

Larry,

After selling my position at the last earnings report, I took out a new one yesterday at about 11. Every time I reboot or turn on a computer, I see Adaptec's name (in the BIOS), so it must be doing something right.

I'll keep the new shares for the value and/or takeover play. Might even add some more if we get into the single digits.

By the way, I'm looking at getting into SOES trading on the internet (seems to be just becoming available). Does anyone have any suggestions for a company to trade through, i.e., an outfit that permits you to direct your trade to the MM of your choice so as to pick up the best bid/ask? (I just got Signal Online for realtime data fees. The data is so intense that I realized that it, now, is much faster than my ability to trade. This kind of data really makes SOES trading a possibility.)
