It is my assumption that the housing and mortgage project will work regardless of which party wins the election. That is why the Company is not going to irritate anyone. We can't overlay US political model and our assumptions about it or our model of mortgages and real estate on top of Belize. Relatives, businesses, relationships etc. are all scrambled for the election. The company needs to work with both parties. I have confidence that the company will work thru this problem within the next week. You can make all the telephone calls you like, I suspect that when you are done it will look alot like all the other calls that have occurred. If you call Newt Gingrich and ask his office about the projects of Richard Gephart you could get a different set of answers than if you talked with Mr. Gingrich or vice versa. I suspect that Mr. Gingrich does not appreciate Mr. Gepharts projects and would suggest that may be of little value and vice versa. Watch the sunday morning shows and think about how politics work in any country. I have not talked or communicated with the CEO. I have written a number of E mails to the brokerage arm of the company. On the NYSE the financial community gets "guidance" from the companies. How many times have you seen Bill Gates answering questions about Microsoft? If you are fortunate enough to talk with him he could give you more "guidance" No difference in this situation. The company offers "guidance" to those who call. If you want "guidance" you could probably get "guidance". This company has alot more going on than just Belize. In a worst case senario lets say the Belize project is postponed. That does not ruin the company at all. With all due respect, I think that is where the thread is a bit off course. We are making like this is the one and only thing that the company is doing. That is a large part of the reason why the share price has held up. When you step back and think about it Belize is one of the projects. They have other similar projects ongoing in Latin America with other countries. Those other countries are larger and more economically successful than Belize. The company has found a nitch and a strategy for doing business in Latin America. There are many countries in Latin America, I encourage anyone to look at the map. I give the company a tremendous amount of credit for figuring out this Latin America nitch. The Latin American nitch however, is subject to the politics and business dealings in Latin America. Recently, Amway was kicked out of China. Recently, Amway was allowed back into China. Would you have suggested that Amway slam any politician or the country publicly or work behind the scenes to get reinstated. Doing business in foreign nations has its drawbacks. American business has made alot of money overseas, however. A new nitch in a new country, I can appreciate why it would not be without its problems. I have read a number of posts where you allege unfair information treatment by the company. All I can say is build up your own relationship/contacts and you can have "guidance" too. I am fairly content with my DD. To each his own.

Biotech: it doesn't seem as though the proprty is being purchased from the government. the government only hands out licences & so on. Even if the government is the one selling the property, this whole deal could be going through ministers/administers, who feel loyalty towards the opposing party. The opposing party stands for "help the little guy" Any thing the present administration can do to make that seem false, I'm sure has already been thought up, or done. Our political system does the same thing here, it shouldn't be a surprise that they would do much worse.
