Greenpeace: That post takes the cake! Did you graduate from Berkley? It is illuminating to see that respect for the rule of law means nothing to you as long as the right interest groups are served. Character, morality and integrity are of no value to moral relativists such as yourself. No wonder this country has become so fractious. JLA

Greenpeace: Drudge reporting that Clinton seeks to postpone his testimony until September (sooner rather than later) and seeks to limit the areas of inquiry (more rather than less). Aren't you embarassed to be supportive of such obvious abuse of power? JLA

From "New Speak 98 Dictionary"

Murderer - A Republican who votes against a proposal for the Federal Government to buy air conditioners for everyone in the country.

Choice - Sucking a baby's brains out and crushing it's skull.

Extremist - Anyone who would dare suggest that there is anything wrong with sucking a baby's brains out and crushing it's skull.

Its a question of importance.

Absolutely. So which of these is more important:

...Republican crimes such as promoting tobacco and guns, eliminating a woman's choice, assaulting our poor citizens safety net, bribing big business, and polluting our air and water.

-- or --

Democratic crimes such as accepting illegal campaign money from foreign governments, convicted drug dealers, and convicted arms dealers, selling advanced guidance mechanisms for Chinese nuclear (yes, NUCLEAR) missiles, subsidizing national laziness through loose welfare controls, condoning infanticide, confiscating our poor working citizens' money through compulsory taxes, fees, and "contributions," removing incentives to start and run small businesses, and allowing the mining of diamonds in Arkansas state parks (See the August 10 issue of Forbes for this last one, pages 51 to 54).

You've been had, Mr/Ms Greenpeace. The Democrats, and particularly the Clintons, have been successful in convincing you that they have your best interests at heart. Look beneath the veneer of crocodile tears and empty promises, and you will find a corroded, corrupt, and hypocritical political party with no higher agenda than its own absolute power over every aspect of every American's life.

Let me know what you think.

Let me be sure I understand you: you are saying that perjury by the chief executive officer of the United States is a matress tag crime? If this is what you are really saying, we can discuss from there, but I want to make sure I'm not misunderstanding you, first. Note that I don't care whether or not Clinton had sex with ML. I'm concerned with perjury. So, are you calling perjury, in any circumstances, by an officer of the court and head of the U.S. Justice Department, a mattress tag crime?

Umm,,,, GP, go read your mattress tag, it's not a crime to remove it....That should give you something constructive to do today, removing all those tacky tags from your fine home furnishings.....bp
