Also, corporate leadership is in many ways an "elected official". Are you going to hold these guys to that same standard? If I don't like their products, I don't buy 'em and there's nothing they can do about it. I don't like Bill's product, well he's got all the guns on his side. If you can't see the difference between free enterprise and the socialist state we're in trouble politically ( assuming you vote - God I hope not).

The degree to which Bill Clinton is honest is not what this is about. We know he's not honest. (And we note that Gates and Ellison are not your favorites.) But this is about a series of crimes allegedly committed by the President of the US. If you can't distinguish the behavior of a couple of CEOs from a felonious enterprise within the White House, I think you have more to learn than we can teach you tonight.

Corporate officers work for their companies. They are chosen by the board to serve the stockholders, not the country in general. Clinton was elected by the people to serve the nation and be the leader of the Department of Justice, the military, etc. There's a fundamental difference. Oh, one other thing -- I haven't yet heard Gates or Ellison claim unique privileges (I'm so important to the country that I don't have to obey subpoenas, let my bodyguards testify, etc.) or exemption from law.
