This one is easy.

Nothing different.

Keep on the current game plan. Let Astra and Janssen handle the international side. Get the domestic marketing partner signed, and
Produce MUSE as cheaply as possible.

Zebra,

Its very simple.

This list is in order of priority given a choice.

1)SELL THE COMPANY!
2)SELL THE COMPANY!
3)SELL THE COMPANY!
4)AND DON'T ASK TOO MUCH FOR IT NOR TOO LITTLE. DON'T SELL FOR LESS THAN $16.00/SHARE BUT DON'T HOLD OUT FOR MORE THAN $19.00/SHARE.

Zebra....."What should VIvus do to maximize shareholder value over the next six months"?????

Continue down the path that they have stated to get a US sales partner asap. Reduce overhead cost..
IMO this should have been done in adv and announced at the same time they sold the sales staff to AZA.

Expidite the rollout process to new countries to allow them to ramp up the new factory to max production levels quickly....

Continue the new plant construction and certification in Ireland...learning from their past experience in NJ...in a shorter time frame.

More timely PR statements as new countries are approved, news announcements as they add capacity to the NJ plant ...ie line #x has just been brought online.....monthly production numbers on their web site. As well as sales info by country reported at least monthly.

More info on Alibra , improvement over Muse, clarification on how/why this would be easier for general DR's to perscribe over Muse.

Use of creative financing to avoid a drain on cash reserves..lease financing, etc.

More info on other items in R&D....review possible partnerships and funding on R&D activities. Examples of others that have done this would be Zona and THRX.

Strive to exceed wall street eps estimates.........demonstrate that they will be a profitable company.

Review sale of the company to larger phar co....

<<"Since most of the problems mentioned are behind us now (and I would be surprised to see Viagra go away), if you were/are a shareholder for the next six months, what should the company do to maximize shareholder value over the next six months?">>

-Sell that expensive home office in Mountain View, CA and move into trailers in East Palo Alto, CA. (i.e. the getto).
-Sell Wilson's company owned Mercedes and give him a bike.
-Staff the corporate office down to where Wilson has to answer the phone.
-Eliminate the perks (i.e. picnics).
-Fire at least 1/2 of the remaining V.P.'s.

Leland should start by selling his penis-shaped swimming pool and then start acting more like a real CEO.

BTW, the domestic partner won't be PNU (unless they figure they can corner the transurethral delivery market with both Vivus and their impending rumored purchase of HVSF).
