(OTC Bulletin Board: ABYT) today released a statement updating the status of its on-line managed care and healthcare administration service, H-NET(R), as well as clarified the strategic relationship with Microsoft Corp. (Nasdaq: MSFT). The Microsoft Certification allows the Company to: -- use the Microsoft name against Alpha Bytes' product line; -- have access to Microsoft advertising, joint seminars and the opportunity to join Microsoft in its booth at tradeshows; -- utilize Microsoft consulting partners in virtually all aspects of the Company's product development; -- have its software embedded into SQL 7.0, Microsoft's latest database management system that is expected to be released in October 1998; and -- have access to Microsoft's systems labs for testing on Microsoft's existing and to-be-released products.
