Y2k stocks as well as small-cap stocks are hurting right now. I am hurting too.

Another interesting stock to watch this week will be Crystal Systems Solutions. CRYSF shares are down about 70% of their year highs and about 25% of this is after Goldman Sachs initiated CRYSF shares as market outperformers. Does Goldman Sachs know what they are talking about? I am NOT recommending CRYSF shares, Goldman Sachs did not even say why they would outperform the market. But I do feel CRYSF shares are being heavily shorted. CRYSF will probably report earnings this week and last quarter the company announced a share buyback program. Again I wouldn't take a position as of yet, but I would keep an eye on CRYSF since Goldman Sachs is covering the company.

flatsville - Encouraging! There was an article in NY times too, wasn't it! Remember, Chevron issued a contract to TAVA on embedded systems. They know how serious the problem is.
Replacement of PC hardware (motherboards or the real time clock chip) is not enough to give INTC or Dell the boost that this fund manager expects. just an opinion. Ram

Make that two days of Washington Post articles. Don't miss last Sunday's editorial in the NY Times, either.

Digged this up from GLOBES-- talks about the various options for fixing the computer glitch

Maybe getting new systems isn't the best alternative.
