Way to go Linda!

You got under their skin, which means that they are unable to respond directly to your problems with them, and they have to resort to grade-school tactics ("You can't have my candy, but I'll share it with everyone else!") to influence others. Not only unprofessional, but exceedingly childish!

I hope a lot of people take advantage of Jon's offer. I mean, a LOT of people. Really, really, LOTs of people. In fact, I wish I could get a list of all their customers so I could make certain that EVERYBODY knows about it.

Sadly, based on what I've seen on this thread, this is just another empty promise from these childish people. I'm curious to see how many people actually get the credit.

If persistence is a vendetta, then maybe I need to review my vocabulary. Maybe I also misuse other words, like "honorable."

Good going, Linda, and good trading,

jim

Linda, I've been reading this thread due to comments about
Brown & Co that showed up in some posts here (I did a full-text
search for "Brown" on SI). I wandered into the discussion of
your problem and could not believe the arrogance of this
company, culminating in that post by Mr. VP. I think he wanted
to take advantage of the spotlight by trying to grub up some
business, rather that make you satisfied.

Based on what I've read here, I'll never do business with
this firm - my opinions are more negative than this, but
I'll avoid saying any more!

I'm switching from my current broker, Regal, to Brown, purely to
save $$ - no complaints w/ Regal. I'm waiting to initiate the
transfer til the market seems to stabilize a bit, don't want
my stocks in "limbo" for 3 weeks or whatever (during transfer).

Best of luck in the future...

Dave
