MoMo players jumping on AND:

smartmoney.com

Momentum players are buying speculative out-of-the money calls on Andrea Electronics Corp., an audio-communications equipment maker, whose stock was hammered during last week's market decline. The stock is bouncing back after bottoming at 5 and options trading is heavier than normal. The most active contract, the February 12 1/2 call, gained 7/16 to 1 5/16 on volume of 480 contracts, compared with open interest of 1,249 contracts. The stock gained 1 1/2 to 9.

Carl,

I'm still short AND and may cover tomorrow before what little profit I have disappears. Andrea ELectronics is definitely a short, but I will get out of the way of the momentum players. And will reshort at a higher price.

Phil Bolton thinks the PR machine is on so that the proxy has a chance of passing.
