Take me out
to
th ball game.

What do you suppose this means (from letter #2)

The value to the company, ascribed to these assets, by management, is based on the price expected, when sold, for extracted minerals....The entry on the balance sheet must be equal to the amount MTEI paid for the properties.

So how much are they worth now ???
It would seem they are going to be booked at the price paid.
Does this mean the SEC has already straightened out the little misunderstanding.

I thought Uselton was in oil, looks like he may have a diversified group of interests, oh no, I see, that is the younger folks that do all the trading and market making etc.... So I guess they wouldn't know anything about oil.

SEXI isn't even a remote comparison to this situation. MM's paid by the company to commit illegal acts.

SEXI was indeed different in some ways. But there are parallels. SEXI also engaged in material misrepresentation, claiming it had contracts--even government contracts, I believe--that it didn't have.
