T - what a joke. They have done nothing but lose market share for years. TCI is another NCR. It is amazing what they have done with those old monopoly profits. LU - spin off had great timing - sold it for less than 1/3rd of its current value. But granted, Armstrong is attempting to revitalize.

FON - vapornet has promise.

CLECs - WCOM owns MFS/Brooks - two of the biggest.

MCIC - WCOM will own this very shortly.

Therefore, WCOM seems well positioned to be a first tier, even if it has had to buy its way in.
