Essam, does ALYA do any R & D, and if so would you have any idea what those costs would be on an annual basis?

Nice start. Re multiple, the closest thing I am aware of to ALYA at this point is Wonderware (WNDR), which was bought out several months ago. I don't know how one looks up retrospective earnings multiples on a stock which is no longer traded. But if you can find that, it might provide a useful basis ... discounted somewhat because WNDR had grown from a startup like ALYA into a pretty significant company.

WNDR developed Windows-based factory automation software -- tied together everything on the factory floor from a process control standpoint. As stated, they were a much more significant company than ALYA is now, so some discount from their multiple would be appropriate.

Essam,

I used an analysis based on similar assumptions and came up with $8.

I also compared the valuation of other niche software companies to Alya's 1999 revenue/income and arrived at an $8-9 valuation.

Giving wide margins for error, I feel safe in saying Alya will be priced between $5-15 by September, 1999.

Of course there are a lot of unknowns here. Based on my research, analysis, and the developing company momentum I feel the unknowns will surprise us on the upside.

Looking at the exponential relationship of a high growth company, Alya is now at the very base of that curve.

Essam, when Watson came here blasting ALYA, he posted an endless list of companies who were destined for greatness while ALYS, he felt, was on its way to the dumpster. Are you telling me none of his long list is even trading?

Dale says a major Towers building they are all waiting anxiously for final decision on is sitting there demanding two more companies for comparison and none can be found at the moment.

That's a "...wow!"

Comments, Essam? True? IF this is true, good grief, but if it is only the illusion of truth and there ARE others, who might they be, not to hype them here, or even mention them here, but are there any?

Take a look at this and see ALYA's potential. We are at the base of a very good company and we all should see 500%+ returns from these prices. I told those on my email list to pick up $1000 each and hold for the payday. We are holding and not worring about the volatility. Our 1000 should be $5000 by the years end.
