Dear Brees Et Al: 1st a copy of your Post: "To All, It doesn't look like there is any enthusiasm at all for the Noble House closing. I know there is some skepticism and that it is justified. I'm just curious, what would it take for investors in MIDL to rally for its success. Any time I've seen a shell get close to an acquisition it is usually associated with all kinds of excitement. Am I wrong or wouldn't this be the best thing so far to happen to MIDL and us" 2nd a portion of Whitetigr's post # 3800: "Now why would MIDL want to bring in a business with audited financials? That was explained long ago. They need to have assets if Spriggs is either in or out of the picture. Now why meet with Spriggs the day after the shipping company? Looks here like both parties would know much better where the other stands. The actions actually make sense if you think about someone trying to put some kind of deal together. If Spriggs has what he says then the assets should be enough to secure financing to build the plant that the plans at Maveric were made for. And why not merge with a shipping company that has ships." 3rd: I refrain from talking unless I have something which I feel will be some help, often through sharing experiences. I am an engineer and most engineers whom I have known are on the quiet side. They sit back unnoticed and listening. However, when they do speak up on a matter within their field, listen up. Even among engineers I keep my month shut when they are missing the technical mark. I am not good with words. The subject of my post is to say that it is hard to be right after the fact of the design error made because no one listened soon enough, although I never say that I told you so. On the present Midland activities, DD is necessary, logic is great BUT CAN ONE EVER BE SURE WITH INVERSTMENTS? Intellectually, each of you are more skilled than I. What I offer is a 71+ year old gut feeling, naive hope and faith in God directly in relation to Midland. Yet I am not enough of a fool to say that the Midland future is beneficially assured. I do know that I am writing to my creditors for a postponement of payments until November 1st. I need Midland to uptick. may I suggest a yes vote on the present two, shipping Co. & DF-144 if a deal is worked out unless there is a SUPER POSITIVE NO(what is is now? MH153? no time to check this out...have to check irrigation before dark) If we pass on these two, we can blame no one but ourselves. I will not even edit this for spelling...must get out to the orchard. Best and Christian love, Marshall W. How many of you would DD God's gift of Eternal life with Him and forgiveness of your sins...to your dying day, to your grave. Trust and faith are good additions to DD.
