Well, I don't think anyone is saying that he did a good thing. The question is whether it's a sacking offence. Personally, I don't see what the big deal is. But since I'm not an American, it is not my decision.

Not acceptable in any position.

Think of the mindset he had to have held when he maneuvered to get the end result. I doubt very much if she walked up to the President of the United States and said...."hey buddy..want a little oral nookie" . Think about the steps leading up to the affair and tell me this guy qualifies for anything other than a straight jacket, or a chastity belt.

Off with his weenie!

Bill sucks as much as Monica.....just...differently

The question is not whether his actions are acceptable.
The question is:

What good can come from an impeached or diminished leader of the First World? (particulary at a time when the world really needs a "United" States).

Regardless of your political leanings (I myself did not vote for Clinton in '92) what benefit does America reap from this dissension?

Is it mainly for the vindication of his political enemies and the "Moral Majority"?

Is it to save our children from a corrupt government?

If it is to save our children from a corrupt government with lobbyists and PAC's etc then we need to impeach all the politicians and require every U.S. citizen to serve a term in office. Rid the world of career politicians.

I am starting a "Re-elect Clinton in 98" grassroots campaign.
Look for the thread to appear in the near future.

By starting this campaign and aligning all Clinton and "United" States supporters we have a good chance of removing the Republicans from the majority in November, dissolving talks of impeachment, and putting an end to this immense waste of energy.

I predict that if the Republicans do not drop this we could see the next U.S. Civil War complete with bombings.
