I think just the opposite, Starr's report will be devastating to the WH. Dems will want to distance themselves. They have an opportunity to get him out before because of the "sex lie" ....They can spin it like..."He was a good President, the economy is strong under his leadership, he worked for health care reform...blah, blah, blah, unfortunately he fell victim to a personal failure that continues to divide the country and raises serious questions about his moral authority to lead the country"..... goodbye Mr. Clinton, hello Mr. Gore"......bp

Why would the Republicans want to see this loser go away before the end of his term?

The Republicans can:

1. Use Slick's dirty deeds against the jackasses in upcoming elections.

2. Influence Slick's law signing--e.g. hey Slick sign this big fat tax break for all us fat white guys (Lorrie's influence), and we won't break your balls for a month or two.

3. Keep dopey Al Gore from getting a chance to shine in high office. Very unlikely he would but why risk it?

4. Keep the press buzzing for another two years.
