Hi Jan. Sector SPDR news.

Message 5536954
Once we know the underlying securities, we can backfit some P&F charts.

Hi Jan,
Just looking at your semis list.

Sold 1/2 my TXN call options this morning. Made enough to cover the remaining options if it goes south. It bumped its head up against the TT resistance and just didn't appear to have the strength to clear it.

Followed it by buying RMBS Sep70 puts based on the same reasoning (with of course, Judy's gentle guidance).

Didn't sell one damn share of CSCO:)

Apparently the WSJ had a comment on the front page saying something to the effect that gold would never be a good investment (pure hearsay since I don't get the WSJ). NEM certainly seems to be at the bottom of the swimming pool (long tail down). Could it be time for a turnaround??? I'm smelling a TDT in the air......

Any news on Florida???

Jan

what will it take for the SOX to reverse back down...today was a big hit...

and NSM just warned

National Semiconductor Corp. (NSM) 12 13/16 -1 3/8: maker of semiconductor products and microprocessors is warning
that it expects first half sales to be down between 8% and 10% from Q4 level; anticipates a loss in both quarters; according
to First Call, NSM was already projected to lose $0.39 a share in Q1 after losing $0.42 a share in Q4.....

glad I had my TXN puts (sold them though) to make up for part of the fall in my SOX call...

P&F ....

I own PTIS and was just lurking.

How do I interpret your findings.

Is PTIS a buy or a sell?

John McCarthy
