<<<And look at all the time and money spent on the witch hunt of Newt, of which he had to pay back to the taxpayers.>>>

No, their argument here is considering that he borrowed it from Bob Dole it doesn't really count as a payback.

<<<I forget who was so viciously attacking Newt and who brought forth the seventy something charges against him of which only one stuck-his
GOPAC mess-but I haven't heard the same defense coming forth from you and others who now defend this president.>>>

I believe that you can paste this on David Bonior. Funny we haven't heard from this little weasel in quite some time.

Have you ever had the following thought halfscot?

Could Barr, after all that's happened with the investigation(charges of flagrant leaks, etc.) & the Monica episode(interrogation of numerous peripheral individuals) submit a report that does NOT redeem the huge $$s wasted & time spent??

Will you be content if his conclusion is that only the dalliance & related testimony shows any culpability on the President's part?

BTW, when the Dems were spending $100M digging for something on Reagan & Bush, I was just as outraged as you(if not more so). I'm a registered Republican. That's my point -- investigation has become a political tool that's used by both parties.
