Mel .. I hear you and am familiar with your opinions on TA.. but.. tell me - where did TA predict PSFT's fall to these horrific lows? How does TA predict and compensate for outisde factors such as Japan, Russia, and humanistic emotions, etc. which tend to send market in various directions? It seems to me that TA can tell someone what HAS BEEN and put labels on certain chart formations, but I fail to see how those things can give any indication for the future. I have noticed some quick posts from time to time where the writer states something in the chart for that day and what it means for next day and the prediction is usually wrong. I think I can do just as well by holding my finger up to the wind and listening to my gut. And my gut hurts bad these days.
