AMAT announced after the close that it will reduce the global workforce by about 15 % to address the global downturn in the semi's. I think this will impact INTC tomorrow !!! Any thoughts/comments....

I didn't think the difference in price between the PII and the Celeron A would qualify as a "bunch" with respect to saving money. Can you tell me what types of applications require the 512 cache versus the applications that can do with the 128 cache. Isn't that the big difference between the II and the "A"?
