What do you mean what happens? During the time out they can still trade above the lock limit down, but not below it. When they re-open the future is quickly moved to adjust to cash and what the market did during the break. It is interesting to watch on the floor, things are rather quiet with some activity. Even though the future is not trading to the downside, people still are very attuned to what is going on....they are not leaving the pits etc....but are still there and watching the activity.

EDIT - I now think we are putting in our bottom. The TICK/TIKI/PREM have all spiked seriously. I suspect we will test low 40's and then bounce. The bounce might not start for a couple hours so plenty of time for a good long position, but I am now thinking the long side. This is the capitulation we were looking for, IMHO.
