What still confuses me is why the UDP party would issue such a release in the first place. If housing was such a hot issue then wouldn't you think they would promote the hell out of the project. The only thing I can think of is that some people in the UDP expected PUP to blow them out of the water in the elections and were looking for favors after the slaughter. They would deny the housing developments so PUP could take credit for it. This would give the people the impression that they delivered on their promises. For this act some of the UDP officials would get positions in the PUP party and probably a new house to boot. GG
