Barron's Article: Here is the text that Dr Risk was referring to that appeared in Barrons this week ".........newcomer CyberBroker is publishing an amazing -- and costly-trading solution that bypasses the Internet. CyberBroker, programmed by people with experience in electronic warfare, presents itself as a private toll road with access to online trading, rather than utilizing the public highway-constantly under construction -- that is the Internet. The program allows traders to watch every tick of the market, and to select which clearing house to use to execute a trade. I got a demonstration of the software earlier this month at the Money Show in San Francisco; you can check it out at cybercorp.com " I'm not sure why they said "costly" - CyBerBroker commissions start at $19.95 and are as low as $14.95 for high volume traders. Use of the private Intranet, which is based on GTE/BBN's Dialinx network costs $2 per hour for higher speed, more reliable connectivity. As for the technology being "amazing" ....... Dr Risk: Thank you for pointing out to us the article in Barron's which described "newcomer CyBerBroker" as "amazing". Truth is that we had not seen this article - we have been focused on building the business and serving the growing number of customers. We have not done any PR todate nor hired an agency etc so this was a bonus for us. The feedback and complements that we get from customers, people on this SI thread and other sources really act as a source of great encouragement - which we accept with humility and appreciation You, Dr Risk, were our first CyBerBroker client.
