Spoos up 17 ,,, Nikkei holding ..
Emergency cabinet meeting being held as we speak in Japan ..

Expect a soft open tomorrow ,,but also a rally ..

All these dooms day scenarios,, reenforces,, my contrarian views..

Yes we may see down ,,but we will also see ,,brave money coming in,, the kind of money that goes for unsurpassed rewards..

We are here,, too late to sell too late to short.. do not get whip sawed... and do not be late to buy ,,

Do not fall for the bear BS on the media ,,starting with Ron Insane ,,,

I am still up 2600 % and will take advantage of every fear driven dips... on quality stocks ,, kind of stocks ,,we could not afford ..

ATHM .. CMGI ,, AOL ,, SEEK ,, YHOO,, CSCO.. INTC.. LU,, BA ,,, CCI.. PFE ,,, SYNT ,, FORSF ,,

Also diversify ,, we must diversify ...

cjp, I don't know what Elliot Wave is, but I do know there is a ton of cash on the sidelines. Something has to go up, not everything can go down at the same time, the money has to go somewhere, just keeping all cash doesn't keep up with inflation. The money always goes somewhere, bonds, currencies, stocks, banks, etc.. It's amazing to look around the world and see almost every stock market down to a 52 week low and some lower. And to look at some of our stocks at lows like HLX, PTEN, TVX, GLDR, is almost unbelieveable. The question was brought up earlier: when does it end? Maybe it doesn't for a while,, you know, kind of like 1929-30s. Maybe we should just keep shorting everything. I'm starting to have some doubts about a bounce tomorrow. Maybe it won't do what it did last year in Oct. on that Tues. after the Mond. tanking. Damn it.

Hi Chris,
On a happier note..while watching the 11;00 news here the "Titanic" is ready to hit blockbuster stores here for sale at 12:01...It has been like a tailgate party here with people starting to wait in line since 8:00 to buy their movie. I want one!!

Also, in this area there are alot of senior citizens. One such group lives in a nice condo overlooking the bay here. They have an investment club, and they interviewed them tonight. They have been around a long time, and are staying with the market. They were lighting up at some of the prices that stocks were at today, even tho they had suffered substantial losses today.<on paper>.It was said that it will be investors like them, the individual investor, that will be the catalyst as to when to come back into the market.
