tomasso, since we've all survived another day i'm going to suggest something different. let's see how we do as "talking heads" there is such a widespread group of very opinionated investors here that i suggest we have the ist (and maybe the last) AIM BB forecasting contest. the winner gets a week in port washington, the loser gets two weeks. at the end of this business day, september 1st, the following were various indexes closings. DJIA: 7827.43 NASDAQ: 1575.09 S&P: 994.24 30 YEAR BOND: 5.33 RUSSELL 2000: 384 those of you interested in "competing" furnish your predictions of what these indexes will read at the close of the business day on october 1st. i figure since things are so dull right now, we'd do something to liven things up. here's mine: djia=8215 nasdaq=1595 s&p=1002 30 year=5.4 russell=398 let the games begin!!! i'll keep track and announce the winner on oct 1st. good luck to all and may the winner be the most bullish!!! s.k.
