HI, Bruce. I finally got around to plugging in some values in the AIM spreadsheet you were kind enough to send me. I'm doing it with a mutual fund investment, Fidelity Select Energy Services. As many in this thread already know, FSESX and the rest of the oil service sector has come upon some very hard times, down over 40 percent from the beginning of the year. This fund is part of my daughter's college money, and I lost a year's worth of tuition already!! (Guess I'll have to home teach her.) Anyway, I turned this into an AIM account in July, hoping to turn it into a winner eventually. However, before I make some huge mistake, would you or anyone out there who is familiar with this spreadsheet be kind enough to look it over and see if I made any mistakes. I'd hate to blow it considering I already screwed up by not selling it when I had a chance! I can e-mail it to you (excel) if you think you can give it a look-see. Sure would appreciate it.

Sincerely,
RFH

Don't you remember the classic where the guy is sitting on a stool talking to his stomach which is sitting on another stool poking his gut?
