Patrick and Clay--I am going to give it some room as well

I feel that it should have at least one rally to the upside -- even if it caves after that.

I am here, kinda. Missed a great short trade due to a client needing to see me. His reason for seeing me has gotten me a bit off kilter emotionally and it hit close to home for several reasons so I don't know that I will be doing much today.

SI is really pissing me off. I have signed up for a second ISP to make sure that it really is SI and not my ISP, but it just took me 15 minutes to read through the last 25 messages. If this keeps up, there is no way I will be able to continue. That is at 50,666 connection speed. It is acting like it is connected at 9,800. I don't get it. Ever since the buy-out it seems to me things have started to slip tremendously.

I know everyone here has gone to the long side, but I just don't know about that. One thing I am looking at closely is from 10:30 to 11:30 TICK dropped 1400 points which suggests an up-move of 10 points from the newly established intra-day low...whereever that is going to be.

My bias however, goes with the TICK trend, which obviously, is solidly down after opening strong. Personally, I think I prefer the short side....and probably not till after lunch. I will attempt to keep you posted on any indications I get through-out the day, but with SI so slow, I just don't know if it will be practical.

You know, I think it must be SI, I remember people with cable modems complaining....or is it just the internet is getting so bogged down. I don't know, but I don't remember these problems a few months ago...
