Netscape has it's own spell checker built in. From my experiance with Explorer (Out Look), it needs MS Word for the spell checker.

I don't like Explorer, me perfers Netscape.

Lamar:

Copy the files from your old browser's Favorites sub-directory before you delete the old browser. After you delete it, you can copy these files to your new browsers favorites sub-directory. This way, you won't have to recreate it.

Lamar, re >Do I need to delete my old browser now or
did the new update overide it?
<

Not sure. When I downloaded a new Netscape browser, the old
one stayed and was still usable. I'd be reluctant to erase
anything now. Unless, you temporarily change the folder name
and then, if the new browser still works, delete the folder.
Deleting will just put it in the recycle bin anyway. So you
could get it back.

But you've had enough problems to make any changes for a while.

If the spell checker in your brand new e-mail program
doesn't work, get your money back.<vbG>
Seriously, what exactly happens when you have typed a message
and press the spell check button?

Lamar, Great!
To All: Do you delete your history files, temp. internet files and cookies daily? Not deleting these files will fill a hard drive in no time. All three of the files are located @ MY COMPUTER/C:/WINDOWS/ Click on the file name, select all then delete.
Nice thread,
Doug

Question: Is there a way to automatically bring up my browser every time the computer is booted? Is there a way to connect to all the web sites from the boot? I use this computer for the internet only Honestly, it's hard to make coffee and start up all the programs in the morning, this should help.
Thanks in advance,
Doug
