Steve,

With regard to your add/delete problem, the Microsoft site has a WIN95
downloadable add-on called TWEAKUI.exe. It's part of the powertoys available for download. It gives you greater control over WIN95 settings. If you install it, it also has an add/delete feature. You can use its feature and it will give you the same message you now get, but after you click the OK, it removes the program listing from the add/delete selections. I've been using TWEAKUI for a long time, and find it a very handy program when dealing with various settings in WIN95. If you can't find it at the MS site, send me your email address and I'll send it to you. It's only a 64KB program. My email address is alraz@iname.com.

Alan

do you use win 95?
do you want the deleted software titles removed from your "Start Up" menu?

Steve,
Sounds like a good idea but only have 40 megs of RAM and run out after 3 - 4 hours. How do you get around this problem?
Thanks,
Doug

Steven/ALL, please do yourself a favor and get a UPS. For less than
$100 you can protect two devices (computer and monitor, usually)
from power surges and even have emergency power for about 10 minutes
in case of an outage. Of course it doesn't help if the outage lasts over 10 minutes and you're not at the computer to shut it down in an orderly manner.
This is in response to...

problem is it's a pain when the computer crashes or the power flickers off and you have to reload everything
