<<Our dear stock market and the majority of it's big players love Clinton, love the economy, and hate uncertainty.>>

I beg to differ with you my friend. Once the market is sure that Clinton is gone, which might account for todays rise, it will move on! You're giving Clinton credit for the market when he's had nothing to do with it....it's Greenspan, Rubin and the Republican Congress.....

To comment on part of your remarks:"...or bastardize the constitution". Is lying under oath (for whatever reason)not bastardizing your constitution? Have the morals in the USA sunk that low that the president can ly under oath and its people let him get away with it? May god have mercy on you if market and money consideration are the only measuring stick for legalizing that sort of behavior.If Mr. Clinton would have any trace of dignity left in his thinking, he should have offered his resignation by now, along with his lukewarm mea culpa.

It's be going on for 100's of years, and yes if Clinton resigns
people are still going to buy Cisco routers, IMacs, and go to Disney World... And you will still have to pay your rent! Actually I don't think it will effect the markets that much..

I understand where you are coming from but... Clinton has lied and lied and lied and he keeps lying. Do you trust this man as our leader? Is he a leader? He just does what others tell him to do. He apologizes because he has to. He admits wrong doing because he has to. He is fake and I can't believe others can't see right through him (his high approval rating). Clinton should take responsibility and do what is in the best interest of this great nation of ours; he should resign. Clinton is only out for himself; a very selfish man. Look how he has treated his wife, friends, family, and co-workers. Yes, he is human he made a mistake. Clinton I forgive you but you must resign since you have let your country down and lied to your people. The issue is about Clinton's conduct and not anything else.

Dave...AGREE TOTALLY WITH YOUR POST....below is re-post from another
rightous and sanctimonious poster who posted his garbage to me..Skane
Glad we see eye to eye on this issue, helps cohesiveness of any group
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
<He apologized profusely today. What is an apology and a beg for forgiveness?? I take it
to mean, "I commited the crime(s) and I am sorry". I can't figure out what Clinton's
lawyers and spin doctors are spending taxpayer funds on as we await the reports. To say
oh "he lied on 7 issues, not 8"?? I don't understand why there will be further arguing by the
white house>
Rashid,
Your post above is the reason we try to keep politics off individual
threads. There are various "Coffee Shop" threads you can voice your
views on politics, religion and the like.
Now though, since you brought it up, I feel obliged to answer.
First of all, at this point all he did was have sex and lied.
Well, so did John F. Kennedy and countless other American
Presidents diddle in the White House. The difference now is
instead of the Press keeping secret's (like with Kennedy,
FDR paralysis, etc, etc) where they didn't have to "lie"
you have this "Special Prosecuter" sponsered by the right wing,
who spent 4 years and 30 Mil trying to nail Clinton for
WhiteWater and everything under the sun, and ALL he came
up with is Clinton diddling some willing girl..... Gimme a break.
Also, there is the issue, very fundamental in American Law,
of "Due Process" and not "Rushing to Judgement" as they do
in other countries....enough said.
Skane
P.S. Are you and the rest of the puritans so righteous that you
NEVER did something you regretted?...what about "forgiveness"
and letting him settle this with his family. They have enough
pain, why do you also feel like you have to cut off his "Big
Hairy Ones"?
