Charliss

You mean ----
What we don't know supports that which we do know!!!

Usually, when I think something is a certain way - I get that becoming thing and everything turns over. I must say however that I am still waiting in the case of Clinton. As objective as I try to be - I have always considered him a real scoundrel and so far nothing has happened to surprise me. I'm still waiting - but so far it seems that this man is truly a bad duck. My opinion is that he would sell his mother for personal advancement and until now he has done nothing to change my belief about this. Quite the contrary unfortunately. He has a magical power when he speaks - I even find myself believing him when I listen to him for a while. I believe that he counts heavily on the old adage that you can fool some of the people all of the time. Fortunately I am not in that camp.

" You have a relationship with the president, and you have planned out its future.
Bon Voyage..."
I wish I understood this part.

As for the rest, I agree with you. Everything we do has ramifications, and it is up to each of us to learn from our actions.

My problem with Clinton is this: He has consistently shown that he DOESN'T learn from his failures. He just keeps doing the same stupid things over and over again, then hires good PR people to cover for him.

From my point of view, that is a very bad person to have as the leader of our country. Maybe you have lower standards, I don't know. Do we all make mistakes? Yes, but how many of us consistently repeat them?

Finally, I agree with my wife (a little) on one point. That is, we should hold our leaders to a slightly higher standard. Why? Because they provide direction and substance to our nation. If we don't hold them to AT LEAST basic standards of decency and action, then we basically think less of ourselves, and slowly lower our own standards.
The funny thing is, WE HAVE BEEN lowering our standards, even as we have continued to lower the standards to which we hold our leaders.

As I said before, we get what we pay for...

BTW, I never pray for anything....I always plan ahead to get what I want.
