This whole incident has caused me some pain. Every time
I think of Clinton's predicament, it causes my mouth to form
into a silly grin. Since the scandal has been essentially
constant for nearly a month, this is starting to hurt some of
my facial muscles.

Okay, there was a day or two when I was shocked and
horrified by the thought of another impeachment. But I
was over it within 24 hours.

Anyway, my guess is that all of this is bad for the dollar.
Why would foreigners want to hold dollars after learning
these kinds of details about how business is done in
Washington? This is going to be inevitably good for
gold. Buy and hold.
