How old are you? Is your memory ok?

We've all heard all these arguments somewhere before: WATERGATE!

I remember vividly: "All presidents do this kind of stuff." "Nobody ever went into the private lives of presidents." "How can we reverse an election - 2 elections?!"

Come on - get off it. The guy is a crook. Wait, I hear another echo from the past: "I am not a crook!"

<<President Roosevelt's wife was rumored to be a lesbian... but there was honor NOT to go there because it was a private issue. Kennedy's affairs were NOT considered a public right to know. >>

You realize these people are long dead? Find a living person to use as an example, please.

The president should resign. He has lied to the American people,
time and time again, and betrayed their trust. Since he has admitted
guilt, there is no reason to put the American people through an
impeachment. He will serve absolutely no purpose in finishing out his
term, the only possible solution is for the president to save some
dignity and resign.

How can you disagree with this?

Kind of you to point this out:

<< There is a new paparazzi code of pursuit that "all's fair" when it comes to any means of looking at, judging, showing, displaying prying into people's lives... pushing through the closed curtain with cameras firing, with reporters and a goon squad of moralists, kicking in locked doors... then claiming in a loud voice.. "Well, if there's nothing to hide, then you shouldn't be afraid." >>

Assuming your are equating the OIC with some sort of paparazzi. I hope you will keep this in mind after this episode is over. I assume you will then be pushing for an end to independent investigations directed by the AG's office.

Of course, if the President had nothing to hide then he wouldn't have been so afraid now, would he ?
