Aroma can be a real memory jogger. I was in a Walgreen drug store and stopped in the cheesy cosmetic dept. Had some time to kill so I started sniffing the test bottles of Wind Song, Charlie ...all the old names. Took be from Junior High right through College with those sniffs. All kinds of events came flooding back to my memory. It was fun.

The tailpipe extensions were off my first, 69, Bug when I got it. "Ya don't need 'em."

Mechanic: "Your valves are burned. You need those extensions on your tailpipes."

I'll never forget the night we changed the oil together on the Rolls---you were so passionate-so wonderful! I thought it was from our sharing such a wondrous experience, but it was really because I smelled like a carburetor?

Mike, the great love of my high school life, wore English Leather, so I would have been driven insane with desire walking through your embassy. A girl in college, whom I hated because she got the role of Stella over me in Streetcar, wore White Shoulders and it still makes me gag. And whenever I spray WalMart Deodorizing Air Deodorizer around the bathrooms, the kids say, "You smell like Barbara!" (the maid).
You know, I'm having a female identity crisis. No one thinks of me when they smell Parisienne parfums, but walk into a bathroom and someone will say, "Oh! That reminds me of penni!" Or take a deep whiff in a dirty garage and-"Ahhh, I remember a night with penni."
