Don--I got a sell signal on the BKX a few minutes ago on my system--since then it is 6 point lower in a hurry

It is not an index that I trade, however. The BKX has led the weakness in the the overall market recently so that would argue for possible further decline from the current levels in some of the averages.

All the other indexes, for now, are on firm buy signals.

My sense is that barring an external event, we have seen the lows on the major averages and the recent low should hold. Interesting that the averages that led the recent decline eg RUT are now holding up the best.

Am still waiting for your sell signal to establish ratio writes--partly established at this point.
