<Not sure what you are basing this on.>

Heresay gets confusing over the years. I was basing it not on personal experience, more on remarks from other traders. I will try to remember to ask a couple of options specialists I know for their opinion. Usually the code is not to badmouth each other, but off the record I'll get something accurate. Particularly if I'm careful not to say who said what.

My concern was that they would not execute a SPX trade. What possible reason? They take OEX.

As for your quick fills, I guess you are using a desk with a RAES terminal, Bob probably is not. Could be your size gives you better treatment. I would think one would have to take all this into account. I use a firm for speculation in stocks where, although I don't trade them often, I go straight to the desk. Another may have to call a broker who calls a trader who calls Mayer etc. etc. I'm moving one account because of this lack of speed and that's not a small account.

Summing up, like I said in the other message a trader who trades size gets preference, I think. If you were trading size and I was not I don't know that I would get the quality of execution that you get on a consistent basis. I'll never know from experience because I like my current set-up, save for that one account.

I don't know about where the market is heading as far as the upside. Have not given it much thought. Day-trading, such as it is, leaves one in the state of mind that the only important thing is the direction for the duration of the trade. Many Daytraders have targets, but I'm not one of them I'm afraid.

Hi Tom, Could you tell me what the 1080 target you mentioned is based on? Just curious. It looks like the high of the day so far just brushed the 40 day ema. That might provide some resistance.
