Raymond,

I have additional study materials on the way to reaffirm my claims about Mohammad, the sun goddesses, and the statement that he had false verses put in his mouth by Satan. He did in fact recant his statements about these sun goddesses. But that does not change the fact that he said them at one time.

When I get these additional materials, I will post what I find. And I plan to post the evidence for your evaluation. I do not post anything I know to be untrue Raymond. So stop trying to say I do. I am finding information out, and then reconfirming them for you, to see about their accuracy.

Steve

Raymond,

Let's explore reported teachings directly from the Hadith. No refuting these as they are references along side of them, unless my sources are wrong. I honestly did not get it straight from the Hadith. So if these are not accurate, give us the real ones in place of these please:

Are health can be improved by drinking camel urine? -

"The prophet ordered them to follow his camels, and drink their milk and urine , so they followed the camels and drank their milk and urine till their bodies became healthy." Vol. 7:590

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Punishment from God because some urine splashed on my clothes? -

Mohammed said, "The deceased person is being tortured in the grave not for a great thing to avoid, it is for being soiled with his urine. " Vol. 2:460

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Hell has something to do with my fever? -

Mohammed said, " Fever is from the heat of hell, so put it out (cool it) with water." Vol. 7:619

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Relatives weeping can cause the deceased to be punished? -

Mohammed said, "The deceased is punished because of the weeping of his relatives." Vol. 2:375

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Deceased will go to hell because someone spoke badly about them? -

Mohammed said, "You praised this, so Paradise has been affirmed to him, and you spoke badly of this, so hell has been affirmed to him.
You people are Allah's witnesses on earth." Vol. 2:448

--------------------------------------------------------------------

A fly in your drink can carry a cure to a disease? -

Mohammed said, "If a housefly falls in the drink of anyone of you, he should dip it (in the drink), for one of its wings has a disease and the other has the cure for the disease. " Vol. 4:537

I have many more but will wait until I have a response about the above.

Again I ask, is this from a true prophet of God?

God Bless,
Steve

Raymond,

Well, here is some more evidence of what I was saying about Mohammed and Al-Lat, Al-Uzza and Manat, the sun goddesses;

matu1.math.auckland.ac.nz

Looks like I was wrong about the satanic verses and prophets being mentioned in the Hadith. It seems it is in the Qu'ran itself. Sorry, but I am human and do make mistakes. Thank God I have God's assured forgiveness!

"We sent not ever any Messenger or Prophet before thee, but that Satan
cast into his fancy, when he was fancying: but God annuls what Satan casts, then God confirms his signs."

Looking forward to your response....

God Bless,
Steve

PS- I still will post the additional evidence I come up with! And a little more family history of Mohammad and the moon godesses:

The Encyclopedia of Religion and Ethics says this:

The origin of this (Allah) goes back to PRE-Muslim times. Allah is NOT a common name meaning "God" (or a "god"), and the Muslim must use another word or form if he wishes to indicate any other than his own peculiar deity.

Allah was a pre-existing god. He was well known to Muhammad's Quraysh tribe. Scholars quickly point out that Allah was one of the names used for the MOON god who was married to the sun goddess. Together they produced three goddesses who were called "the daughters of Allah. Their names were Al-Lat, Al-Uzza and Manat. These were considered high gods--at the top of the plethora of Arabian deities. Muhammad's father's literal Arabic name was Abd-Allah. His uncle's name was Obied-Allah. His family was devoted to the moon god for at least two generations before Muhammad. The Arabian pagans prayed towards Mecca because that is where their idols/gods were sitting. Since Allah was one of the idols in the Kabah it only made sense to turn toward their god and pray. Praying toward Mecca continues to this day.
