I agree with you on earnings for the next two quarters. But other indicators such as sentiment(too much bearishness), liquidity and interest rates are positive. I think we could have a flat to up market. However I think stockpickers will do better than Index players.

AS for Qcom, they could beat the 50 cents estimate handily. I think 70 cents is likely but they may report 60 cents holding 10 cents in reserve. They were making 50 cents/quarter before the Korea debacle. This quarter LWIN being out is worth 5 cents and something for infra structure being breakeven. Comments?

If you listned to him(Wein) you would have sold out at 6000? I disagree with you. I think Japan has stabilized, and interest rates will be led lower over the next 4 months. i think Brazil will stabilize after elections. I think unless there are any surprises the market will not go below 76-7800 range.
