daddycool, stop and think about what you're saying!!! Before the Republicans took over 1-20-95, there was a PROJECTED DEFICIT of over 1 trillion dollars!!! Since 1-20-95, the Republicans have pushed this man to a balanced budget! Clinton signed the BBA, kicking and screaming all the way. Now we're projected to have a 1 TRILLION DOLLAR SURPLUS!!! Do you not at least wonder why the Democrats were not about to do that in the 40 YEARS THEY WERE IN CONTROL???? Get real, dude!! If the Republicans were not in control, there would be no Balanced Budget Amendment!!!

Balanced Budget: Clinton says 9 years, Congress says 7 years...

How soon people forget...

With this lousy forecasting record, one wonders whether any of
our feeble-minded politicians have a handle on the real issues
impacting the budget and the economy. It seems to me that our
politicians are simply lucky and benefiting from forces beyond
their ability to understand. Yet, the partisans will take credit
and insist that their side "caused" it!
