Interesting that I decided firstly that I wasn't buying any more y2k stocks, and secondly I wasn't buying anything today. So what do I do but add a few VIAS shs.at 6 3/8. At least my two biggies VNTV & INFR were up nicely today so all in all it worked out. Re VIAS: I was in ISLI for quite awhile and made decent profits. As you know they were recently bought out by MIFGY. I have always considered VIAS a lot more than a y2k company, and more similar to ISLI.

Have a good weekend. Enjoy the Harley. MY friend from Scottsdale is visiting me this evening and says your weather has been great.

TED,
Agree with your statement totally. Owned PTUS and got out before recent drubbing but it established firmly in my mine that Y2K wasn't going to happen for many little companies. Currently follow only TAVA, DDIM, and VIAS(tracked 8 companies on a daily basis for a while but confidence is certainly shaken. VIAS has good balance sheets and good position for EURO in 99 so I kept it on my list. I think some of the better companies with other capabilities will have a pop some time. VIAS buy back will start again after earnings so it should be somewhat safe. However, bottom dropped out today and "falling knife" is the question. Might get in Monday for a trade. but confidence in whole sector is shaken. Earnings disappointment is a real possibility. What is your confidence in the earnings this quarter?

Karl

TED,

Looks like Monday is the big day... Seems like we have "been there, done that" before.

Best of luck to everyone.

Well, Ted, looks like we are getting good at throwing away money! Probably will see 4's today. Just looked -- make that 3's.
