Thanks HiStakes - Appreciate your comments & definitely can see that I must get away from Greenline somewhat. In the past I have been investing more for the long term so it probably hasn't cost me. Now I see myself wanting to daytrade or at least be efficient at very short term when daytrades don't materialize. There are times when I am away from computer so daytrades will be out, but when I'm going to be at the keyboard, I want that capability you speak of, where 5 minutes can mean hundreds of $s. With mkts as they have been lately, it has to be day traders heaven, IMO. tide

It times out otherwise and then you have to waste more valuable time signing on. " I find that a problem with Scotia Discount also. I use both, Scotia and E-Trade. I am finding myself trading through e-trade more and more. Jim S
